To help with the cost of the trophies, each member will be required to pay a small entry fee.   White, yellow, and blue belts will compete in the kata events only, and will pay $10, while green belts and above (kata and kumite) will pay $15.  Payment should be made as soon as possible to your branch instructor!

3.  YELLOW / BLUE BELT EXAM

HSKs next scheduled exam for all members seeking yellow or blue belt ranking will be on Saturday, May 10, from 9 am to 12 pm at Noelani.  Those planning to take the exam should prepare themselves well.  White belts at all branches have been working very hard in preparation of their very first exam, and should do well.

For the information of our newer members, and as a reminder to all our veterans, satisfactory school reports are a prerequisite to exam-taking.  Each member must receive an S or better in all three categories to qualify to take exams (an S- is not acceptable).  School reports will be issued to all school-aged yellow and blue belts the last week of April.
