HSK BLOOD DRIVE -
September 3, 2018
HSK OHANA -- YOU are the most
AWESOMEST people I have EVER met!!! Our Ohana broke yet another record,
donating an all-time high of 31 pints and saving up to
93 lives! Those who could not donate blood brought
goodies for our brave donors, and many did BOTH!! And at least three of
our heroes were first time donors -- Alex Oda, Nadia Cunningham, and
Susan Sawai! Many thanks for taking that HUGE step toward HSK's
continued community service to others.
"Thus far this year, our HSK Ohana
has donated 55 pints of blood to the Blood Bank of Hawaii and $4000 to the
Hawaii Food Bank!" exclaimed a beaming Sensei. "I love ALL of you for
your caring and commitment to HSK and our community!"
A reminder that you will be
eligible to donate again in 8 weeks. Those who were unable to donate this
time, please try again as soon as possible. It may not be as much fun
without your Ohana, but you can take pride in knowing that you are helping someone
in need. Please designate your donation for Hawaii Shotokan Karate, and
let Sensei know if you are successful so that your name can be added to our list
of donors. YOU ARE AWESOME, HSK!
