"LOVE MY HSK
OHANA!!!" exclaimed Sensei. Forty-eight (48) members, parents, and friends donated an
astounding $6,235.00, just short of our
record $6300+ last November!
Heartfelt thanks to ALL our donors from the Hawaii FoodBank, Sensei, and your
Senpais!!
Senpais Ray, Todd, Alan
and Tracy led
the way, amassing an incredible $1794.00!!!
The Senpai group as a whole donated 48% of the total, solidifying their
commitment to Sensei's goal of contributing to our community. Member
William Chon was, again, our "Super Family donor", encouraging his family and
friends to help in the drive. "Super Member Donor" honors went to Lai Ly.
Senpai Dan Stephens donated TWICE, while Senpai Rylynn Toyama, currently
juggling her UH studies and a part-time job, still found time to open her heart
and checkbook to make her very first -- hopefully, many more to follow --
donation.
Those of you who were unable to donate this time will have
yet another opportunity in November to help the Hawaii FoodBank in its quest to
deliver hope and health to the people of Hawaii. Please answer the call!
